'Diablo 3' is eye-grabbing on next-gen MacBook Pro

The hit "Diablo 3" game already looked great -- but if you want to see it at its most eye-popping, you're going to have to check it out on Apple's newly revealed next-generation MacBook Pro.

Apple has just revealed the MacBook Pro during a press conference taking place in San Francisco kicking off its annual World Wide Developer's Conference. (For all the news live from Apple's WWDC, follow this link).

During the keynote address, Apple's Phil Schiller announced that Blizzard's hit hack-n-slash game "Diablo 3" will be updated to make use of the Pro's new Retina display, which offers a stunning?2880 x 1800 resolution on a?15.4-inch screen. (In fact, all applications will have to be updated if they want to take advantage of the display.)

"You will see a gaming experience with this resolution that you have never seen before,? said Schiller.

Of course, getting this super-powered,?eye-popping version of the game will cost you a pretty penny.?Pro pricing starts at $2,199. And though the new Pros ship starting today, Blizzard has yet to reveal when the updated version of "Diablo 3" will be available.
